She grew up in a musical home, and fell in love with music and recording at the age of 4, using a double deck karaoke machine, overdubbing on cassette tapes with a small keyboard. 

At age 10, she sold her first song to an artist signed in Nashville, and signed her first of two label deals, went on tour, and received 5 GRAMMY nominations all before the age of 20. 

After pivoting to the side of recording, she interned at OmniSound Studios in Nashville. Producing and writing for up and coming artists, as well as composing for TV/Film/Sync projects, CJ has been mentored by Jonathan Beard(Once Upon A Time), Carlos Raphael Rivera(The Queen’s Gambit, Griselda), Shie Rozow(Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Desperate Housewives), gaining a reputation as a force in the industry. Her credits include shows on NBC, FOX, A&E, Hulu, Netflix, The First 48, Sony Music, SPLICE x Jammcard, The Sarasota Orchestra, The Nashville Symphony, and more.
